Vegan Pizza Hummus

Miranda | The Herby Eater
This Vegan Pizza Hummus combines the cozy, familiar flavor of pizza with the creamy texture of classic hummus. Chickpeas and tahini form the base, while tomato paste, oregano, and basil bring that rich, herby tomato depth that tastes like a pizza sauce you can scoop. It’s quick to make, uses pantry staples, and works equally well as a dip, spread, or base layer for wraps and bowls. Perfect for snacks, meal prep, or light lunches that still feel indulgent.

The battle of two hummuses that couldn’t be more different: which one are you taking a bite of first? Both are vegan, one is oil free and refined sugar free, the other has oil but got a protein boost with a good amount of nooch. One tastes like pizza (and smells like it), the other tastes like fall and family gatherings and memories 🥹🤍. No right or wrong but I wanna hear your opinion, so leave a comment with your thoughts! 💭 #hummus #hummusrecipe #pizza #pumpkinpie #veganrecipes

Notes

For a roasted flavor, blend in a few roasted red peppers or a spoonful of sun-dried tomato oil.
To turn it into a full meal, spread over a toasted pita, top with sautéed mushrooms and spinach, and warm briefly in the oven.
